Starting from scratch

I can’t even begin to explain the frustration of having to deactivate a large portion of your life. A blog that I’ve had and revamped over the last four years? Deactivated. Twitter? Done. Facebook? Locked down. Instagram? Hidden from the public. Can you imagine having to go on the computer and googling your name at least once a week to make sure that you’re unsearchable? It gets old. It gets old after a month, and I’ve been doing this since 2007. All of the recipes I’ve shared, pictures of my home, my daughter and husband – everything is behind a wall now. However, slowly but surely, I hope to bring back those posts and make them accessible to the public again.

{Imagine not being able to put a picture of your child on your Facebook profile/cover photo because of people stealing the picture, and putting it on Instagram/Facebook/Twitter as their own – that’s my life.}

Of all of the times in my life when things got tough, this year would’ve been the perfect year to have my blog up and running with the ability to connect with the people that share my struggles. It would’ve been such a great outlet for my mental state – being sick for so long puts your head into a very dark place. I hope that this blog can be a great success this time around, but in a modified form for the time being.

Cheers, to blogging, yet again 😉
